REST!
Rest is sweet after labour
God is such a good father. I am in awe of how he led and carried us in 2025. It was an intense and dynamic year to Legislate and he was a friend that stayed closer to us than a brother.
In January, he told us to get sight, in February we warred in prayer, in March the year began. He instructed us to Legislate. In legislating we fell and when we fell, he caught us.
In April it was quiet and intense but while waiting for letters from heaven we wrote letters to heaven. He was with us in the silence. In May we encountered the glory and our heads were exalted. In June he instructed our spirits, souls, mind and body to be still. Reminding us that stillness was neither silence no slowness, but strategy for speed and exponential increase.
In July we shifted. We thought things were falling apart but they synchronized into order, slowly, silently, gradually. In August he sang over us in enigmatic symphony. “One thing on the heel of another” he kept saying. In September we overcame by shifting our posture. In beholding him, we became.
In October he renewed our strength, “run with the new” he said and run we did. We ran ahead and looked ahead. In November we became robust, bearing root downward bearing fruits upwards with multiple thriving branches. 2025 has not ended and there is more.
Thank you God for your love, for your intentionality. We were pruned, we went through the fire and it didn’t burn us. Gradually we are seeing the results of the process and we understand what you did in us in 2025.
This month he is telling us that, rest is sweet after labour Ecclesiastes 5:12. He is inviting those of us that have had it tougher to come and rest. Come unto me and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. For all we have gone through this year he is inviting us to rest in his arms.
Rest in God!
Don’t get so busy auditing the year and your goals that you fail to rest. Remember 2025 is a 2 year cycle. We are in placements (sightings, shifting, placement) and the 2026 calendar will continue on the back of the 2025 calendar. It is still the season of one thing on the heel of the other. This is a dynamic year. Please crawl into the arms of Abba in this short window and rest. We are in a transition window that will lead to a transition season. Some of the auditing can and should wait till January.
Rest in the company of brethren, rest your spirit, rest your soul, rest your mind, rest your heart, rest from labour, rest in Abba.
